Albert Pujols had knee surgery last week

Albert Pujols‘ 2012 season began kinda crappy and ended kinda crappy: he apparently had knee surgery last week.

Pujols hurt himself in late August. Though he didn’t miss time, he was limited to DH duties for most of September. ┬áThe surgery was of the arthorscopic clean-up variety and he is expected to be good to go well in advance of spring training.

You gotta find something better to get outrages – sorry, outraged – about.

If you’re going to pick nits, might as well of pointed out arthroscopic was spelled wrong too.

If you were going to correct anyone, you might as well *have* done so using correct spelling and grammar.

        Irony; it happens.

      That’s called Nerdgassing.

That is two seasons in a row with very poor starts. I think Albert needs to acknowledge the age thing and change his offseason workouts to come to Spring Training in better shape. Maybe not BSOHL shape, but something. David Ortiz had a couple seasons in a row with starts like that, as he aged. You need to prepare differently as you age.

Albert arrives to ST in the best shape of anyones life. Always.

It wouldn’t hurt but really, he wasn’t out of shape in February/March and was a monster in ST games (I know, I know…)

He actually attributed part of his April struggles to the hard time adjusting to the fact his family is not relocating to California and they couldn’t come out to be with him until school was out in May.

Not sure why a 10 year contract wouldn’t tempt you to relocate but hey, that’s just me.

30 HR, 50 doubles with 81 games in a pitchers park and a whole bunch more in Oakland and Seattle.

Happy the knee surgery was successful. Hoping he can return to the A.P. of old in 2013.
Also happy he got this done last week (WHILE HE HAD THE FREE TIME).
You know…SINCE HE ISN’T DOING ANYTHING RIGHT NOW.
