He actually attributed part of his April struggles to the hard time adjusting to the fact his family is not relocating to California and they couldn’t come out to be with him until school was out in May.

Not sure why a 10 year contract wouldn’t tempt you to relocate but hey, that’s just me.

I think Albert needs to acknowledge the age thing and change his offseason workouts to come to Spring Training in better shape. Maybe not BSOHL shape, but something. David Ortiz had a couple seasons in a row with starts like that, as he aged. You need to prepare differently as you age.
