He would have two World Series titles (with different teams, different personnel) and third pennant, and four other consecutive division titles (we’re now up to three different teams, differest sets of personnel). His career totals and career winning percentage are light for a Hall of Fame case, but I think he’ll sneak across the dividing line. His year with the Rockies is the only black mark on his managerial record. Again, that’s if the Tigers can win it all this year.
