But Detroit is in the Eastern time zone, and times zones are argued to be a big reason why the “east coast bias” exists in the first place.

Either way, there IS a bias against the Giants right now. There was in 2010, and it’s been happening all over again in this 2012 postseason.

The Giants had to be SICK and TIRED of hearing about the UNBEATABLE JV. All of the national broadcast teams repeatedly show their ignorance when it comes to the SF Giants – they never had even watched them play it sounds like. Not one team from MLB Network, ESPN, FOX, TBS – none of them really knew what’s up with the Giants. Just goes to show you that the East Coast bias is not only ridiculous – it’s so prevelant
