Hats off to both pitchers so far. Have to think the giants will have the edge going into the bullpens. Tigers really need to be up in the later innings if they want to win this series.

On a different topic, I’m surprised that the tigers left fister in their after taking that shot off the head. It hit him pretty good. We all have learned a lot about head injuries in the last decade from the NFL and MLB. Often times there is a “delayed reaction” to side affects. His adrenaline could have easily masked signs of injury. He’s getting pulled now in the 7th. He should go get some X-rays and a CT scan.

Bumgarner pitched a helluva game in the 2010 World Series and he is doing the same here tonight. He has had an uneven game this year but he is making up for it tonight.
