Tiger fans’ are posting some classy comments here. I remember well the crap the Phillies fans wrote all during the 2010 postseason here about the Giants. Hateful stuff. Not so with Tiger fans. Good luck to both teams in the rest of the Series.

But Short had to admit Bumgarner was "plenty efficient". And in the end, isn't that what really matters ~ besides the win of course.

Excellent game last night, both starters pitched well. Gotta take my hat off to Doug Fister who took a line drive shot squarely off the back/side of his head and stayed in the game. Frankly, I couldn’t believe it. That is one tough hombre and a really good guy, as well. I hope he is all right today.

I doubt we can shut down Cabrera and Fielder completely. Hitting is affected more by the short layoff than pitching. Plus they haven’t seen much of the Giants pitching which makes them even tougher. Which is one of the reason that in the WS good pitching almost always beats good hitting, they haven’t seen them much before.
