Yea, he’s had to be tough growing up with that last name! But, for his own safety, MLB should make players come out of a game when they take that type of shot to the noggin. He should have been on his way to the ER immediately after for his own safety. A baseball game is not worth risking his life over.

Glad to see Fister is doing well. He’s a real stud for taking such a wicked shot and still staying in the game. Looking forward to seeing him pitch again!

and also, the tigers have caught an amazing break with The Fist getting nailed twice by line drives in two games and him not even leaving the game, let alone being injured.

The Fist is a cyborg. real talk – i have more faith and confidence with him on the mound than i do JV. i don’t know why, and it’s irrational, but it’s true. maybe it’s his demeanor. whatever it is, the only thing i worry about when The Fist takes the mound is his run support. all year long it seems the lineup lets him down.
