still holding out hope that detroit can win a couple home games and at least make the fans sweat a little, but with the giants making their own luck and stringing hits together, the hope window is obv slim.

It’s not like a typical slider. You can’t detect the normal slider spin. He throws it just like a fastball. There’s no slinging motion. But it acts just like a frisbee, cutting way to the left. And his fastball moves the other direction. He’s not putting up these kind of dominant numbers because of his body type or the velocity of his pitchers. It’s because of his mastery of placement, movement, and the way he feels obligated to be successful for his team.
