If I am not mistaken the last pitcher to pull off 3 series ending starts was Derek Lowe in 2004.

The Tigers are a bunch of beer league, over weight, out of shape baseball players that, let’s don’t forget they had to battle to win the worst division in baseball. I can’t stand watching them play because they sit back and wait for the big homerun. People say the Giants have got all the breaks (Blancos Bunt in game two) that isn’t a break, he actually bunted and created the break. The Tigers do none of that and that is why the Giants will hoist the trophy again and the Dynasty that began in 2010 will continue

Are the Tigers overrated or are they underperforming based on their past performance? For the first three you mentioned (Fielder, Cabrera, and Verlander), I’d go with the latter. Don’t get me wrong–I agree that the Giants are a well balanced team but pretty much everyone expected this Series to be more competitive.

I have no team in this series, but the post-season abyss loons. Come on, Tigers, show a little fight.

prince fielder is overrated
verlander is overrated
the tigers are overrated

the giants are a balanced well oiled machine. the best team in mlb. everyone and every so called expert thought the tigers would stomp all over the giants. well guess what… the giants aren’t the weak yankees the tigers bullied around. its a sweep tonight. panda sandoval is the mvp.

And if you are among the millions who don’t care who wins but just want to see an exciting Series, well, it does get a lot better than this. Not a single lead change in a game so far, a possible sweep. Not exactly a classic, memorable Series. Come on Tigers, let’s make this interesting.

Wow baseball is still being played… Wait its the World Series…. Wait its almost over – why isn’t Baseball relevant anymore? Is it because the big market Yankees & Red Sox are not relevant… Smh it’s a shame – It’s the World Series!!! Should be #1 thing going in sports….
