You forgot one dimensional and provincial – but that’s OK, the important concept for Colorado is that they are doing it THEIR WAY. Unfortunately, that doesn’t translate into a winning offering very often.

You obviously haven’t kept up with this situation at all.

1. The Rockies have scrapped the 75-pitch 4 man experiment going forward.

2. The “shitty” bullpen was actually one of the better bullpens in the league, especially considering their ridiculous workload. Starting pitching and defense were the main problems.

3. Quite a jump about the Dbacks being capable of so much more. You can literally say that about any team, the Rockies included. We have yet to see how the park changes at Petco will affect their hitting. You offer little evidence besides, “Well the fences got moved in.” Does that help them hit singles and doubles below sea level as well?

Just let Giambi do the job. They need an unassuming robot down there in the dugout as they go forward with a 75 pitch limit for their starters and whatever else they think will “save” their team in the NL West.

It’s not looking good. The Giants are good. The Dodgers WILL get better. The Padres are moving those fences in and will miraculously hit again. The D-Backs had are capable of SO much more as witnessed in 2011.

The Rockies are cooked. And for a long time. Too bad Bruce Bochy isn’t available to manage that team and their shitty bullpen because he’s just about the only guy right now that can get the job done.

Meanwhile, for what it’s worth, Bryan Price just withdrew himself from consideration for the Feesh job. He had been tabbed as the runnerup to Mike Redmond in the captaincy of the Titanic sweepstakes. Since this is the second time he has interviewed for the Feesh, you gotta wonder what he…awww, no you don’t. Not really.
