Ozzie Guillen tweets congratulations to replacement Mike Redmond

Nov 1, 2012, 12:48 PM EDT

Ozzie Guillen continues to take the high road, which is both commendable and sort of unfortunate for those of us entertained by his various treks on the low road.

I wonder if it has to do with him still being paid the next 3 years to not manage.

It’s much easier to take the high road when you’re carrying suitcases full of cash in Spain.

It’s also easier to take the high road when your chickens have come home to shit on your head before they even roost, and you have been brutally humbled by the worst year of your professional career.

Ozzie is just bored and wants to add to his Tweet count.

He will end up with another team in due time, but not in 2013.

He WANTS to manage again, but why would a team take him? He alienates players, owners, GMs, fans, umpires, everyone who has anything to do with baseball has been mad at Ozzie at some point, except sports writers? That sound like a good recipe for a rebuilding team in need of a manager?

[Comment Deleted, commenter banned for (1) racism; and (2) not knowing the difference between Mexico and Venezuela]

Now we have another racist, imbecile troll – who is too stupid to tell the difference between a Venezuelan and a Mexican – on Hardball Talk.

      • stlouis1baseball - Nov 2, 2012 at 4:29 PM

YOU can tell the difference between a Venezuelan and a Mexican (just by looking)?
Make no mistake…not knowing the difference between the two Countries is one thing…but being acutely aware enough to tell where a person is from just by looking is impressive as hell Gator.
        I joke…I joke.
Nevertheless…I am happy to see HBT wasted no time in banning the worthless P.O.S.

How can a former leader of the Pale Hose congratulate a former Twin on taking his job??? Do baseball rivalries mean nothing anymore??? Curses to free agency!!! (sarcasm, with a little truth and seriousness in the first sentence)
