This entire story is incredibly sad. But I do have a question:

How is it “a sadder note, he was arrested for cocaine in the Dominican Republic during the 1983-84 offseason and missed playing time because of it”

than the fact that he was

“murdered in a robbery in his home this morning in the Dominican Republic”.?

I find this almost offensive…and I neither do cocain nor have I been murdered.
