Do you really think he’d mix well w/ Fielder, Cabrera & V-Mart? I’m not saying we couldn’t upgrade our outfield. My expectation though is that the surprise deal will be a pitching one. I think that’s where we’ll spend the big bucks. Also, the thing about DD’s deals is that they are usually not what everyone expects.

How about a corner outfielder? A quick google search tells me I’m not the only one who considers this a possibility. It seems like Detroit always pulls some crazy free agency shenanigan, but you know… I sit behind a non-baseball related desk all day.

I can’t think of any team that would take the big gamble on Hamilton. He is going to ask for A-Rod type money, and we all know how that is shaking out.
Whoever signs this guy is going to change his mind even before the ink is dry on that piece of paper.
