Oh My God, whatever, etc: Ryan Adams suspended for amphetamines
Nov 2, 2012, 5:00 PM EDT
Not that one. The other one:
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Baltimore Orioles shortstop Ryan Adams has received a 25-game suspension after testing positive for an Amphetamine in violation of Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
He’s on the Norfolk Tides’ roster at present.
I guess to be young is to be sad to be high.
What a Heartbreaker.
No, don’t get up. I’ll show myself out.

It would be interesting to know exactly what substance he tested positive for. I’m assuming it’s Adderall (or a related product).

Seeing as Adderall is d-amphetamine, that’s a guarantee.

I Googled Ryan Adams, for the sole purpose of determining whether you were referring to Bryan Adams by mistake. The first line told me all I needed to know.
“Not to be confused with Bryan Adams.”

I read a story once where Ryan Adams had a couple of hecklers in the crowd asking him to play something by Bryan Adams, and he climbed off stage and whipped the shit out of them.

Wrong. Urban legend. Ryan Adams, who went bonkers during a 2006 show in Nashville after a heckler repeatedly yelled for him to play the other Adams’ hit song “Summer of ’69.” A less-than-amused Ryan demanded that the venue turn on the house lights. He then plunged into the audience, located the heckler, handed him $28 to cover the price of his ticket and refused to play another song until the joker left the venue

You should listen to his music and educate yourself. He’s very talented.

Easy, Tiger. Enough with the Ryan Adams references. This is starting to hurt.

I guess when he wrote “Everything I Do (I Do It For You)”, he meant PEDs.

At least it was only Ryan Adams suspended and not all of the Cardinals.

When you’re young, you get sad and when you’re young you get hiii-iiigh (on amphetamines?)
