The Phillies on Thursday hired Dave Brundage as manager of the Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Brundage managed the Atlanta Braves’ Triple-A affiliate for the last six years. He has a career record of 1,086-1,028 (.514) in 13 seasons as a minor league manager.
Always good to see teams trying to emulate their betters.

Who cares how many playoff wins a team had, neither the Phillies or the Braves won the World Series (which is the goal).

Hopefully the Phillies do not emulate the Braves. Last thing I need is a team that chokes out of the first round year in and year out. Seems to actually be more of an Atlanta sports trend, rather than restricted to the Braves only.
