It’s the first obvious mistake I’d assign to DiPoto, but he’s been dumping Dan since his time with the Diamondbacks. He obviously just doesn’t like the guy on the mound.

I think this will blow up in the Angels face. I see Greinke either as a Dodger or on the inevitable mystery team that is bound to swoop in and surprise them. Also, Anibal is not leaving the Motor City. Mr Illitch will make sure of it.

Angels should have kept him. Basically $12 million to count on one mediocre season to be an outlier. The Angels don’t have any starting depth at all, and if they don’t land Greinke, it’s officially time to worry or overpay Anibal Sanchez.
