You sign him, you’re getting a guy that has PROBABLY already had his career year and more than likely a guy that will pitch somewhere between that and a less than average AL starter.

For most of the hungrier GMs in the league, it’s worth $20 million/year. If it’s me and I haven’t won in 105 years, I might take a flyer on this guy, but for most other teams, pay him $14 mil/year and give him 5 years. That’s it.
