For whatever reason(s)…he did a good job. If he didn’t have good technique…if he didn’t illustrate things well…if he didn’t have good report with the players dudes wouldn’t travel to California in the off-season to work with him. Which they regularly did prior to him ever being hired as hitting coach.

He didn’t screw anyone up, which was nice….but guys pretty much hit about as well as you would have expected them to.
