Jon Paul Morosi reports that the Red Sox have interest in Shin-Soo Choo and Justin Masterson.

This is just another extension of those comments by Chris Antonetti the other day which some have taken as a hint that the Indians are going to have a fire sale this winter.  There’s no sense, however, that anything is close or even happening between the teams.

Choo would obviously be a nice addition to any lineup, and the Red Sox should probably be in the business of finding any starting pitching they can.

Is there someone the Red Sox are not interested in? Just give that list, it’s probably shorter.

Even as a Red Sox fan, these headlines are getting old and tiresome. You can pretty much assume their interest in ANY AND ALL free agents. I’d rather hear more about who is getting into “the best shape of their life”.

I’d be happy to see them bring Masterson back. He was nothing but solid for the Sox the first time around.

Ah….. the Indians and their perpetual rebuilding.

Who in Gods name aren’t they after? maybe if you were to look in the obits you might find someone they’re not interested in.

I swear at the Red Sox at least 50 times a season for trading Masterson. I would really like to stop doing that. Please bring him back. Please?
