I saw Hamilton last week in the AFL, and IMO he’s more than a year away. He may be the fastest baseball player I’ve ever seen, but he needs work on the rest of his game. Very raw in the OF (since he just started playing center).

Agreed about Stubbs. If not for his defense and his being a former first round pick, he’d be long gone. However, since I’m most decidedly not a Reds fan, I hope they keep him and keep playing him because of his “potential”.

As for the Reds being interested in Bourn, well, at the right price, who isn’t interested in him? Dumb headline.

His contract demand is so high that even if signed for a lower amount its probably still overspending for his production. That said you better hope the Reds dont sign him. Carl Crawford like waste of money.

My Reds desperately need an upgrade at center field over Drew Stubbs. That said…. i’m waiting on Billy Hamilton to come up and take over the position in a year or so. I’m a major fan of Bourn, but i don’t think it would be smart to overspend on him. Tough call.
