Y’know, career highs at age 35 used to be a telltale indicator of hanky-panky. Not that AJ Pierogi would ever stoop to such a thing.

Doesn’t he seem like a fit for the Yankees? People already hate him. He hits better than he fields. He is older. He would fit right in.

With that hitting, he probably get a good job year to year. I like my catchers to lead with defense (especially in DH-ball), but his stats are good. Until the OPS drops quite a bit, someone will take him.

After that, he will just have to spread his leathery wings and fly back to Mordor, whence he came.
