I think they might have been taking that signing for granted a little and not thinking in term of $5.5m plus incentives. And honestly I think that&#039;s probably OK.  I think Baker can probably be a decent pitcher by the end of the year, but there&#039;s a good chance he&#039;s going to have some rough patches where you&#039;ll want to treat him like a #5 and skip him. The Twins already have that guy penciled in in two or three other spots, so I kind of understand them not wanting to write a real check for half a spot. It would have been a nice story, but Baker is probably not going to be the solid 160-180 inning guy they need.]]></description>
