okay, re-phrase: I could imagine a dollop of doro wat without a hardboiled egg before I could imagine the Royals without Jeff Francoeur. Incidentally, did you know that Merian C. Cooper and Ed Schoedsack, the makers of King Kong, filmed Haile Selassie's coronation? Have fun at that cocktail party with this tidbit.

"Kosher baseball"???? It's un-baseball, thats why. Know what I believe in? The small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of ~~Susan Sontag~~ Stephenie Meyer are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe ~~Lee Harvey Oswald~~ William Shatner acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing ~~Astroturf~~ Joe West and the ~~designated hitter~~ pitcher hitting. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve, Molson Canadian, and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days and I believe in The Sacred Powers of Beavers, Faux-Bu, Rum, pipe smoke, & Dog. I do NOT believe in "Kosher Baseball". There should be a clear and distinct separation of church and baseball. All else is madness.

Good thing, considering Haile Selassie died more than 8 years before Jeff Francoeur was born. Imagining the opposite would cause a tear in the space-time continuum. Next thing you know, we’re in an alternate universe, where the Royals win the World Series every year.

Cur, I think you are implying that I am attempting to discriminate against Beavers. I assure you, Sir, that this is not the case – this law would apply equally to all of our baseball partners. Can’t you set aside your Beaver nationalism for the greater good? This is about the future of our world and religious liberty. We just want to make sure that you do right by baseball and the Jewish community. Why do you hate kosher baseball? This is exactly why our country needs to take a stand and act decisively on this issue.

Jeff Francoeur is a nice man. I cannot and will not support any document that wants him out of baseball. The Royals signed him, they must play him. I found KCR fans nice people so they are a natural fit for Frenchy. George R.R. Martin is another matter entirely. Force feed him a banana, a multivitamin and litre of water and he might speed the heck up.
