He was signed to play left field for fifty games in anticipation of Braun’s suspension. They never would have bid on him otherwise. Heck, his posting fee was only a couple of million bucks and he has been a complete steal.

TheMLB season is already long as hell with so much travel I don’t think guys who know they have a roster spot locked up are ever going to volunteer for more travel and games the way people hoped when this tourney first started.
