drewzducks, see there you go again with the take on another posters moniker. You obviously have an issue with calling some posters by their given “moniker” name. I may or may not agree with bozosforall comments. But as best I can tell at least as it pertains to this topic you were first to take the low road in your reply to his comment.

This is just my opinion, but it seems unfortunate that you appear to get your jollies by referring to players by the names of : A-Roid and “snap crackle pop” and other posters by not very complimentary variations of their monikers. With that I will pass on replying to and further comments of yours here today.

Drewzducks, this is a response to your latest reply. You could have made what ever point you wanted or were trying to make about players salaries or contracts without the the lame take on a player(s) name. You can come up with whatever excuse after the fact as an explanation you choose but the intent of your original comment is clear “A-Roid” and also “your snap crackle pop shortstop” reference speak volumes about the real message you want fans to take from your comment.

Just so you understand where I’m coming from comments like the ones you made are more befitting of the blogs on the Yahoo sports sites then here.

I’m sure I’m as concerned about Nomar, Manny, Ortiz, manny Alexander and company as you are about Rog, Andy, Sheffield, Grimsley etc… The point is the hypocrisy of the criticism of the Sox potentially overpaying for a declining Pedroia when your beloved Yankees have retired the award for overpaying for past performance with the Rodriguez albatross of a contract. Fans who read other people’s posts should be very careful to understand the point of the post.

That’s funny about the take on A-Rod’s name. Almost as funny as the gullible fans waiting for Ortiz to explain how the “illegal supplements” got into his system a few years ago.
