I am fairly sure that if Mike Quade was still the coach this would not have happened. I blame EVERYTHING on Dale. Why not just add two or three dollars to each concert ticket and use those funds for the grass replacement. This way the Cubs aren’t paying directly for the new Colorado Kentucky Bluegrass

I would like to known where I can buy the old grass and dirt.

Its grass. Its resilient as hell. Unless they had people stomping on it everyday they didn’t play they would likely be fine just giving it a break during the offseason. And I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Kenny Chesney crapped up Target Field with his shenanigans as well this year (and appears to be ready to do it again in 2013).

I know that teams do this to make extra money and I can’t fault them for that.

But I don’t have to like it.

$400k does sound like a lot because I recall a football team replacing their sod a few years back for 1/10 the cost. I understand a baseball field is much larger, but it is not 10 times larger.
