Yet he was GM when Utley, Hamels, Howard, et al were scouted and signed. We’ve been pretty harsh on Ed Wade. His moves didn’t pay off until he was fired. Not fair.

Apparently you haven’t “sat on the internet” for the past YEAR. He was fired by the Astros last November and re-hired by the Phillies last December.
