Since he pitched at Rice, maybe he will be comfortable back in Houston. Hope so. A very reasonable gamble.

And double down on Brown and Deshaies. I want them back to. Dumb move if they let them walk.

Seeing Humber’s uninspiring stat line from last year made me wonder: is Humber’s season the worst season by a pitcher in which he threw a perfect game? Is it even close? I’m sure somebody out there is willing to do the research.

Good God, yes. I didn’t know they didn’t have those guys signed up. Probably my favorite broadcasters in all of baseball.

We are in a position to gamble a little, with nothing to lose. I am sure this signing is not putting fear into the AL West, but we continue to pile up young arms and a few are going to payoff.

We are looking at 2014, and I think we will start to compete in 14.

Sign Berkman, the Astro fans deserve it…. agiain, there is nothing to lose. It will be a great mix at first with Wallace and Berkman switching it up.

And last but not least….. SIGN BROWNY & DESHAIS.
