I am sure Detroit is in on this too. J.V., Scherzer, Dickey, Sanchez(still trying to sign him back), and a young arm to fill the 5th. WOW that would be impressive.

I know he’s said he’d like to stay with the Mets. Don’t know if he’s a 5 and 10 man, but if he does get traded, I hope it is to a contender and not a pretender. He’s a class act, a Cy Young winner now, and he deserves to pitch for a team with a legit chance to make the playoffs and maybe win it all, as he’s not getting any younger, even if a knuckleball pitcher does typically last longer than others.

Enough nonsense baseball in the modern era any team can make a run at the playoffs and be relevant. Do not trade Dickey, the man brings a steadying presence to that staff. With the young pitchers we have and RA we can make a run. We need bats and outfielders, we should have signed Martin before Pittsburg did. Stop being pessimistic asses. They still charge big city prices for tickets, have a TV station so stop with the nonsense spend the money, reasonably find the players we need. Signing Wright was a nice step now finish the job. Trade Murphy for an outfielder, trade some other spare parts keep Neuiehaus (excuse the spelling) he reminds me of a young Andy Van Slyke. Stop being so dramatic. Or if you want to act like the A’s and Pirates bring your seat prices down to match theirs.

I’m a Met fan and think they should trade Dickey, without a doubt. It’s going to be at least 2 years until the Mets are relevant, and they have only spoke about offering dickey a two year deal. Trade him now for a real OF prospect, or a Major League ready Catcher. Dickey will never have another season like that, and his value will never be this high. Trade him. Let the dumb fans cry.

He would be a solid fit for the Brewers.
The fans would love this guy first of all…he just feels like a Wisconsin kinda guy.
And regardless of how well he is pitching he eats at least 6 innings per outing, something the Crew really needs with their below average bullpen.
