Dickey is a bit different. They probably, in the short term, want to keep him, but if the numbers become large, trading him for youth and cheap deals makes sense. The only depth the Mets have is in the rotation. Dickey is a great story and a talented guy, but getting some salary relief and young guys would be a good outcome given the situation.
