Mariners make sense, as they have an abundance of pitching prospects; six or seven of their top 10 prospects for 2013 are pitchers. The Orioles, on the other hand…they’d obviously be foolish to part with Dylan Bundy. I think they might be able to pry Butler from KC for, say, Kevin Gausman + Nicky Delmonico & a lower-level prospect. Just spitballing on that, though.

I’ve wanting GMDM to pull the trigger on a stars/prospects for an ace pitcher for two years. Do it! Just don’t screw it up.
