The Rangers are the “most aggressive” on Josh Hamilton

Dec 3, 2012, 12:35 PM EST

Like, they’re going up to him, shoving him, knocking his books on the ground, calling him “dweeb” and stuff. Pretty ugly scene:

Insert the “wow, it would be surprising to see him sign back with the Rangers” stuff, followed by the “given the surprises we’ve seen at the past three Winter Meetings, nothing is unexpected” stuff.

Is “aggressive” code for offering the most money? Let’s be honest folks. Whoever offers Hamilton the most $ will be the team that signs him. Simple as that.

Man, I hope this is misinformation. Both sides spent all of 2012 preparing to part ways, and parting ways makes the most sense for both sides.

Disagree, beefy, consistency and routine are I believe what’s best for Hamilton, and thus I feel the best fit for him is to stay put.

personally, yes. professionally, it is more of a detriment. plus, his last 2 years in Texas were as much of an emotional roller coaster as a player could go through. lots of baggage there.
