When the local spawrts pandits were speculatin’ on a hypothesis (they know they don’t know nuthin’) they figgered that Escobar was going to play third, thus perpetuating the Feesh strategy of trying not to play a third baseman at third. Now, if he’s moved, there’s the risk that the Feesh will retrieve an actual third baseman off the scrapheap in the Rule 5 draft and destroy a beautiful tradition.

It doesn’t really matter, though – hardly anyone will be watching next season, and those who do watch will only be watching because they’re sheep.
