No more atrocious defense in the outfield, please.

I’d like to see him re-unite with the Mariners though. He could DH and they could slide Jesus Montero from DH to 1B and have him spell at C.

As a Phillies fan, and a baseball fan in general, I really do appreciate Ibanez for the professionalism he’s displayed in his career. That being said, as a potential outfielder for the Phillies, that really makes no sense, and would be done out of pure desperation from RAJ. Now do what Nancy would do and just say no.

I would hate to see Ibanez sign somewhere else he did an excellent job for the Yankees last year. I think he might have even done better if the Yankees didn’t have to use him so much with Gardner’s injury. Watching Ibanez last year he seemed to wear down some where he played to often.
