Finally watched the RA Dickey interview on The News with Jon Stewart. Pretty cool indeed. Interesting note: RA may have let the cat out of the bag. When describing how dysfunctional a baseball players life might be, especially when it involves being traded, he only mentioned TWO places he might wind up next season. One was LA. The other? Well, lets just say RA will need some warmer clothes for the winter months and he can get seal blubber wholesale.

at the beginning of the show, Stewart said that it might be the first time a guest could be traded while on his show.

Since Stewart is a fan, he has to think that Dickey could be a good trading piece to help rebuild the team. It would have been interesting if Stewart as a fan and interviewer brought that up to Dickey who kept saying he really liked being in New York (yadda…yadda). Of course Dickey would have said that he understands that it’s a business decision but it would have been interesting to hear the point of view of a guy that knows he’s a hot trade commodity.

I like R.A. he’s a genuine person. Too goo to be on the Mets. I hope he lands in a good situation
