Liriano was either brilliant or terrible on the mound. Amazing how he could be so good and then be so bad.

For sure. There’s always the hope that maybe he’ll find it again. Or at least I always hope that in cases like this. I think with just a few more innings last year, he would have been qualified for and led the league in K/9. I mean that’s not a huge deal, but it’s something.

That’s good news for Twins fans. We really don’t want him back. We have the same pitching coach and he couldn’t change those horrible mechanics.
