Craig – you were sniffing around for something to write about and you picked up on this and knowing that making this a big deal is a slimy move even by YOUR standards, you used that last sentence as an excuse.

The guy is 57 years old and it is his first offense.

Owner Bob Short wanted to sell tickets. Clyde essentially became a circus freak show act and his career was ruined as a result. Sad story, but you could expect nothing less from Mr. Short.

Sad story. And a case of gross malpractice by the Rangers’ organization (if you could develop a criterion for such things.) Texas Monthly made the case about 20 years back that he saved the Rangers’ organization in MLB, and in exchange was never developed properly and then discarded.
