I think they had the Rockies finishing second and winning a wild card spot too.

But even the headline, in conjunction with the post, made it quite clear that the idea I’m against is assuming that L.A. (note: the same L.A. as the headline) holds special threats to Hamilton’s sobriety than any other city.

By all means, make jokes about Hamilton’s addiction. Doing so only risks bad taste, and I have never had a problem with occasional bad taste.

What I can’t abide, however, is rank ignorance, and believing that Los Angeles represents some unique sort of peril for Hamilton is ignorance.

You may now resume completely misrepresenting the things I write.
