Yea, it was this numbskull along with a cast of others.

I heard Jim once telling the story about how the Mets management were on a conference call about the trade and nobody really gave their opinion one way or the other, and then he was told to make the trade. Just goes to show you how bad this franchise was (is)?

I still think Peterson and Leiter were pushing for this trade and went to Wilpon directly and asked for it and this is why it happened. That is the way the Mets worked back then.

The Wilpon’s are bad owners, not baseball people by any stretch of the imagination.

What Met GM traded Kazmir again, Phillips or Minaya? Loved Scott Kazmir as a Devil Ray. I hope he sticks with the Indians.

In the Indians case, the back of the rotation is the same as the front of the rotation.
