Kev, strangely, I’m past hating the Fillies. Never thought I’d say that, after bad experiences I’ve had with drunken, belligerent “Phans” at Nats Park. But they are irrelevant now. Have a new hate affair with the Cardinals–gotta eliminate them pronto.

Exactly right. The Phillies fans only showed up in big numbers when they were winning. As they return to normalcy, you won’t be seeing very many of them in Nats park.

Would think Marlins would pony it up and who’d want to play there now? Think about it. Adams set up Bell in SD, Bell goes to Miami, Adams before that to Texas. They have a relationship so Bell would of course stay away from Miami at all costs.

When I read there was another NL East team in on it, I assumed the Marlins. Just for the fact that it doesn’t seem like anyone wants to go there. And then I thought about it and realized the Marlins aren’t really in the spending sort of mind set.
