I dont know why people act so surprised that the Mets arent making eye popping movies…they have little to no money this season and are gearing up for the future – something they havent been able to do in years. They brought in some very nice prospects for years to come and next season they have a ton of money coming off the books so they can spend. Sandy is doing a great job setting them up for the future

Long-man, innings-eater rotation depth – could do well as a pitch-to-contact guy in the ballpark.

Still would like to see the Mets sign a nice mid-back end rotation arm to a one year deal – namely Marcum or Karstens – that could be dealt at the deadline for some future help.

He started last season in the minors, and was called up due to injuries. As times he was good and at other times he was very hittable. As Aaron said, he is not a bad addition for depth, but you hope that you do not have to use him a lot.
