Bring him to the dodgers. He can take over for Hanley and move Ramirez back to 3b where he isn’t such a defensive liability. By the time Hanleys contract is up, seager will be ready for third. Him and puig can push each other in the minors and become known as the “Cuban crushers”. That makes dee Gordon expendable or he can move to 2b as a platoon player.

The Metro mover does not go to the stadium, TriRail does not go to the stadium. Miami is a
‘party” city, nobody is getting on the bus. Unless you have a public train that drops you off at the stadium, nobody is going. Driving there is awful in Miami.

Would you rather, fish, go to the beach, take a day trip to the Keys, go bar hopping in Lauderdale, people watch on Ocean, hit up the Hard Rock, the ponies might be running somehwere or watch the Marlins play with their Triple A team in Little Havana? Going to a Marlins game is a pain in the butt. There is too much other stuff to do. Going to Dolphin stadium was okay to watch games, because of the tailgating aspect and easy access to major highways north,south, east and west.

The Rays have been competitive by, “shedding big names while putting a focus on stockpiling prospects and fielding a team on the cheap” by trading players high or signing them early.

We can’t demonize the Marlins for trying this but it would have been smarter to never have spent the money.
