Different, not important, point…I’d call the Braves fans doing the tomahawk chop lame and unoriginal rather than disgusting. It was copied from Florida State sports fans. Florida State, of course, has full endorsement by the Seminole tribe of Florida for its use of Native American imagery.

I am talking about a game about a bad call at first that the umps call ruined a perfect game that the world saw. Raysfan, you are showing your age.

Indeed, it was an awful call, but it was completely acceptable since it was bad for the Braves and their fans, the idiots who do the disgusting “chop”, who then immediately showed their class, dignity and respect for baseball by trashing the place.

Seems like a good thread to mention it, with it celebrating the new year and all. Please, I beg of you, any of our commentors out there. If you are going anywhere tonight and having a drink, don’t drive home. Call a cab, call a friend, call someone to get you home safe. People on twitter are saying the C[hicago]TA is doing $0.01 rides tonight, and I’m sure other cities are offering similar services.
