We already posted about Javy Vazquez today. But this is worth its own:
Scout on Javier Vazquez in PR winter ball: Physically looks great, ball coming out of his hand well, could be a sneaky good pickup.
— Tim Brown (@TBrownYahoo) January 3, 2013
“Sneaky good” is even better than “sneaky fast.” If he’s super serious about the comeback, we can probably expect a BSOHL event here soon.

Someone was watching a Major Leaguer pitch in an actual game on a Caribbean island today. I’m working in an office in frozen Chicago with no real baseball in sight. F@CK!

FORMER major leaguer, he’s retarded you know…

Judging my this story, I don’t think he’ll be retired for long. Therefore, I conclude that Javvy is neither retired nor retarded and is simply “in between teams” at the moment.

I just had to scrape a dead fox out of a dank 17th century cellar. Mate, it gets worse than an office.

“Dank” and “17th century cellar” seems a tad redundant, no?
And come to think of it, what was that fox doing in the 17th century?

If only “mystery team” was added to that tweet somehow, it would have been perfect.

Just as long as that “mystery team” isn’t the Yankees.
I’ve got my eyes on you Brian Cashman.

I see him as a perfect fit on the Muts.

Naahhh, he fits the Mutts the way the stage script for “The Metamorphosis” fit Max Bialystock’s short-range investment plans.

Vazquez seems to do his best work for National League teams. For the most part the opportunities he’s had to pitch for AL teams he has not been good. Maybe a reunion with the Marlins is in best interest.

Whose best interests? Working for Scrooge McLoria is certainly not in Vasquez’ best interests. Hell, there are bacteria that would be better off working a different asshole.
