That pretty much means the Gnats, or else his preference would clearly be the Razed, AL East or not. He wants to remain as close as possible to his home and family in Puerto Rico. Another point: folks have short memories and although he pitched most of 2011 well for the Feesh, the first quarter of the season looked a lot like his late unlamented tenure with the Borg. He found his mechanics in late May of 2011 and began pitching like the old Javy again. Might could be that he’ll pitch well in either league.

The teams in the AL East and West will eat him alive. He should stay in the National League where he’s had his best and most success.
