He doesn't "suck". Look at his 2011 numbers with the Fish--3.69/1.18, 13 wins, 32 starts, 106 ERA+, 8.3 H/9, 1.0 HR/9, 2.3 BB/9, 7.6 K/9, 3.24 K/BB.

He'll put up decent numbers, nothing great but a lot better than your average journeyman. He's durable and since his early 20s really had only two bad years, both with the Yankees.

Besides, we're talking about the Mets here. Not that much is expected, not that much would be paid for.

Brian Cashman's biggest mistake since being named GM of the Yankees. He might still wake up in the middle of the night and ask what the hell did I see in that guy? He was horrible then and he'll be horrible now.

I can still see him shaking off Posada and Jorge having to go out to the mound and asking what freaking pitch he wanted to throw? Watching that man pitch in a pressure situation was worst then going to the dentist.

There's a reason he was out of baseball last year. He sucks and he wants to be paid like a number 2 or 3 starter. Good Luck!

True. The NL East will probably be weaker this year than last season, so the Mets could be a good landing spot for him.
