Biddle is about 2 years away, isn’t he? Yet to pitch in AA, just turned 21. I doubt Hamels’ condition has anything to do with it so much as Biddle has more value as a potential top of the rotation starter than he does for what they can get back in trade in this rather weak corner OF market.

I’ll take their word for it for now, but Utley’s injury the past two years apparently wasn’t a big deal, and Howard was coming back by opening day last offseason. I hope Hamels is truly alright.
