Bob Boone’s reservation is based on two facts about Strasburg: (1) he has that funky delivery, which always makes him a risk for further injury; and (2) he throws a lot of pitches to get outs. Strasburg isn’t going to be a CC Sabathia-like workhorse, but with sensible management, he should be able to pitch 200 innings with very good results.
