And as far as having a train wreck of injuries… 2009 was maybe his best season as far as being a team player is concerned

Hey, if having a seemingly endless supply of hot chicks available to me for carnal entertainment is wierd, sign me up retroactively to the day I reached puberty. As far as “inflated his statistics” and “gained an unfair advantage” go no one will ever know for certain except for A-rod. Nor will we know how many mediocre players used the stuff and stayed exactly that, MEDIOCRE. Also, unless you are a Dr. or a chemist to say that his injury in 2008 and the current injury have anything to do with steroid or PED use is likely just the wishful thinking of you bias talking. Right now it has been said several times, by Medical experts no less, that the injuries to his Hip joints have nothing to do with his use of steroids.

My friend there is absolutely zero proof or even the smallest amount of evidence that A-Rod took PED’s from 2004 to the present day as a Yankee. Of course everyone is free to believe what they want but the overwhelming evidence is that A-Rod has not taken PED’s for approximately 8 years.

I was a big a rod fan but I honestly started thinking he stopped doping after the book came out in 09 when he got caught and “confessed”. after that he began to have a train reck of injuries. he’s no amazing player in my eyes…growing up watching Jeter play…Mo close games those players are amazing to watch…not a rod

According to the evidence we have, A-Rod stopped taking steroids in 2003. He won two MVP awards and had seven excellent years following that, while still performing at a high level in 2011 when healthy. 2012 was really the first truly problematic season he had, and that’s only relative to the expectations his previous play had set.

The guy who after he stopped taking steroids has started breaking down and has only been a shell of his steroid self?… you mean that guy?

Let’s not over inflate someone who cheated to gain an unfair advantage because it legitimizes his illegal steroid usage.

People are voting you down because you would almost have to try to not know that he has been doing pre-hab (not a typo). For many kinds of surgery, it is not recognized that doing work to strengthen the muscles around the joint shortens the re-hab time and increases the likelihood of good results from the surgery.

You see, there is an easy answer. One that has been published many times, it just isn’t the answer you gave, thus the thumbs.

The only thing I have heard about A-Rod is that he works crazy hard doing drills and working out so that he can be the best he can be. That is 100% the opposite of not caring about baseball.

There are plenty of things to make fun of and bash A-Rod for. Most of them are overblown, but whatever. Not caring about baseball just ain’t one of them.
