No clue why teams are “file and trial.” Seems like a lazy approach (IMO). Get with the guys, get with their reps and NEGOTIATE.

So, you’re saying that since there is not in between numbers selected at arbitration the Royals could offer Luke Hochevar a dime, and of course he would reject it. Then the abitrator would see clearly that he sucks and award the Royals an arbitration win?
